They're 2 separate people. Unless I'm missing something.
It's possible that it's the same world. Because after God died, the people all became "normal" people. Therefore, it is a possibility that her "father" is the little boy. However, seeing as the differences between the technologies used, it's probably that they are from a different world. A parallel one, perhaps? It could also just be sensei's art style.
There are two different worlds, the little boy grew up in his world and hopes to use the watch to travel to Komachi's world. When the watch re-starts (8 years after the god's death) Komachi and the god are both reborn in her original world, where her dad has been waiting.
And the end notes say Komachi and the god are raised by her father, and will probably be raised as siblings, but will still eventually be attracted to each other. IDK how to feel about that.
Okay.. I need someone to explain me this...
What the heck !!?? The little boy .. turned out to be his dad?? or they just looked a like when he got older.. Is the story a circular narrative??? Is not complete yet.. so.. is there is any hope this has a happy ending??
