Think there’s prob a misunderstanding on the blue haired best friend’s part. Seems likely the convo between the new boyfriend and Owen might’ve hit topic on Owen’s dad since that looks like a sore topic. Still, Owen is hiding that he’s already tested queer waters from Kyle.
Plot seems cliche. Kyle will prob try his best to get on Owen’s good side such as being understanding and not avoiding him, for the sake of getting closer. The closer Kyle gets, the more sympathetic he’ll get with Owen. Owen will prob feel some sort of peace and attachment with Kyle since Kyle 1. Knows he’s gay, 2. Knows his temper is shit, but 3. Doesn’t avoid him. Jade fits 2/3 of those but doesn’t know he’s gay. So then Owen will get closer to Kyle. They’ll both fall into awk orbit with each other. And then either blue hair will urge Kyle to break up, which devastates Owen, or Owen finds out about the plotting which pisses him off. But by that time Kyle will have caught feelings. Idk.
