Spoiler: its not all in Alice's head.

It's not all in Alice's head.

Because....
The world she's in was actually real with its own rules. Nightmare and Peter manipulatively told her it was all a dream to make believe "it's just a dream" you can do whatever you want, time doesn't matter. Etc.

There are other foreigners in the game that ends in wonderland:
Ace and Blood.
Apparently the key to enter that world are some conditions:
- to have an extremely dark tragedy/difficult childhood
-be someone that is not an adult yet so someone not older than 17-18 years old.
-one of the role holders must invite them in.

- Alice tragedy: her entire family died due to a hereditary illness an illness that Alice also has. Lorina her sister's death happened probably the year after she broke up with her tutor whom from the game, Alice stated she still has contact. (they exchanged letters). She entered wonderland knowing these but Nightmare and Peter made it so she forgets them and thinks she's her younger self around after her tutor rejected her. When in actuality her sister Lorina is death. Peter brought her to wonderland: the scene where she lip naps her from the garden is already part of the dream. Nightmare and Peter reproduce the sunday afternoons of the past when Lorina was alive and she recently broke up with her tutor. She's actually older.

-Ace: it was revealed in Daiya no kuni no Alice that he came to wonderland at a young age and that Julius was the one who brought him and looked after him when he was an outsider. I don't remember much but Julius died/waskilled. Everytime a role holder die, they forget their memories and it happened in the country of Diamond. Ace who was teenager loved Julius since he was like his father. So he went to Jokers because just like Alice, he was lost and brought forth his April fool. He asked Jokers for a way to be with Julius again. Joker told him he can make so that Ace is with Julius again only if he's turned into a role holder and be their dog/executer. (Julius died but not always it's guaranteed he'll revive in the same country). Ace accepted and become the knave of hearts because Julius revived in the country of hearts not in Daiya.

-Blood came in wonderland after deciding to leave the world he hated, he was from a noble family and hated their life style and corrupt mindset. It is not specified who brought him. Apparently his biggest tragedy was sending his sister off, she was engaged to well known abusive rich old man. He hated that outcome and his weaker self that couldn't save or stop his sister. One way or another he ends in wonderland and seek power to be strong and have power to protect those that are dear to him. He probably made a deal too with the Jokers to become a role holder but discover he couldn't leave wonderland after that. His sister on the other side end up marrying the old fart and probably died from his abuses. Later on he meet Vivaldi but not as the Queen. Vivaldi was a faceless girl back then, Blood recognized the similarities faceless Vivaldi had with his sister and probably made a deal with jokers to make her the next queen of hearts. In fact in the manga Vivaldi had a family of her own that were faceless and said she was suddenly chosen as queen without understanding why. So probably Blood is behind it. Y'know he's the sneaky manipulative guy in the dark.
