She isn't his biological daughter. She's the daughter of the other guy who leaves his son at the last chap (the son and the daughter r twins) u can see them being separate at the beginning of this story. Also sean said that he was a sergeant. So i believe he was having a baby for the couple and then when he got 2 the wife only wanted one (but i don't know, we should wait for season 3). Hope i didn't confused u too much (≧∀≦)
