Not only France. I see these sorts of "prejudice" a lot about Europe and Americans in general. I really find that weird..especially at this day and age
Yeah. That trope of 'kissing on lips when meeting' often times really ticks me off as if Europeans and Americans are some horny monsters ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
Cute story. But seriously, Japan see the french culture in a weird way. No, we are not some kind of kissing maniac. We just greeting each other with 'fake" kiss on cheek (lips don't make contact with the skin). Kissing each other on lips is only used between lover.
And what is 'Chocolatine aux cerises' ? x) Chocolatine is a thing but we call it 'Pain au chocolat' and it's not a cake (like a Croissant but with chocolat). It was probable a 'Forêt-noire' if it was really a 'chocolate cake with cherry'. It's a German cake by the way.
