HAHA They are actually related. If I remember correctly (it has been years since I read it), the main reason the father was attracted to the mother is because their son will be his mate. The mom died during pregnancy. It is messed up honestly haha. It was full of conflicting feelings and angst but if I remember correctly, this "soul mate" is sacred to their werewolf tribe sooo it is taboo and not taboo at the same time?
