I think Jeanette isn't as nice and kind as she seems to be, lowkey i'm sure she's selfish and only care about herself and her own happiness. The way i see it she doesn't care about claude and athy as individuals. She only see them as tools to gain a family.
The day she learns she's not a part of that family she won't be an angel anymore, she will try to destroy Athy. If she can't have it why would she let athy have it, jealousy will consume her.
