Please explain why she did that. I dont understand her at all. If she had the guts to defy a King from another country, I felt like it would had been better if she just ran away with the musician. I dont understand her at all. Please explain.
Well she is desperate to survive and she didn't want to live as her father puppets. She is forced to give her youth and childhood and all being taken by her father, imagine you only want one thing that is human things to do and being forbid.
She is not stupid enough to messed her reputation especially to hurt the musician reputation, she want a revenge but I don't think to get them back together.
I guess I understand why she is mad and hate her father and the family. While she is
trying to save the family and herself, you can think marrying Regan was also her part of showing rebel's against his father.
I would also choose to marry someone that I know or maybe like she did as for married is the only option for woman at that time to have a freedom.
I hope you can understand my view of her life.
Oh I see. Yeah I kinda get it now. Thats amazing though. She is so cool. She couldnt have what she wanted but she was brave enough to get revenge on her father, yet still be successful. I wish I could do that too.

Honestly I feel bad for Regan...but I guess I can understand her side too.
