Even if you don't usually care for long stories, give it a try: the story sucks you in! I've read thousands of stories and this was refreshingly unique, though there is the classic selfish jerk seme, but also a very fun and caring seme. Bit of old school yaoi vibe you see. The base of the story itself is something I've encountered only rarely, and I went through such a rollercoaster of emotions while reading this that I just had to say it here.
