The red hair is dragon as you guys said but on page one there's this dragon on chapter 1:

Immortal fire dragon so my theory is he killed her parents for her to resent him for her to kill him 'end his suffering' the wounds he had probably hurts him everyday so he was desperate and did those horrible things
