Haha look I'm not mad at you – I think you're describing Chang pretty harshly though. He was a good friend to Ed. No one bullied him because they were always together (and he'd beat up ppl if they messed with Ed), when Ed got a license he always let him drive his car, when Ed get's a gf he asks a typical older friend question of "are you using condoms" – the reason he turned on him is complex :c. Ed himself describes their friendship as one he thought couldn't shatter, so the point is that it was a good friendship.
Also, I don't know what you think debt is like, but you just pay a minimum payment on it – he clearly did not want to push Ed into prostitution or porn (though he does say some harsh words). He tries to write off aspects of the debt multiple times as soon as he gets an inkling that Ed might be selling himself, and even before that, he keeps trying to get a chance to talk with Ed (asking for dinner, etc). He also isn't stalking Ed – he needed to talk to Glen and you'll see why next chapter. He also brought Ed something important to hand off to him. He's not getting between Ed and Glen either, you will see it next chapter.
I can understand why you don't like him, but I would try to read his actions more neutrally – you're assigning intent where there is just stuff happening in a natural order.
And see the problem is when you just dismiss what the porn industry is. I encourage you to go read about and read how people describe how they felt in each situation Glen puts Ed through. It's not normal fuck up assholery... hahah. Please don't normalize it just to protect Glenn. Also, consider reading Ch 33 where Glen knowingly hurts and manipulates Ed. :c That part is sad.
