I think I get that he may have other motives by letting the uke go, because he thought he was a bother?? So he pretended to like his childhood friend. Or something. But don't expect the uke to be wholed up crying and waiting for you when YOU threw him away. I get you're doing it for him (possibly) but you still hurt him in the end, and there are consequences to it. Now he's found a new boo who is (in my opinion) 100x better than you. So BOO YOU :)
