Im just curious why the uke go to camp? It's important?

I believe it's for getting your drivers license. He mentioned the car wouldn't go straight and I'm assuming a driving instructor on pg 13. I don't know how it really works since I'm from America, but I've seen quite a few times in manga where they actually have to go to a school/training camp type thing to get one.

Just looked again and it does say it's a driving school in the links on pg 27 as well.
