Khaol definitely doesn't deserve river back but it would be nice if river could at least forgive him later down the road don't get me wrong khaol is a douche and doesn't deserve anything from him he let this man die in front of him with no objection for a person who just wanted him to let go of the past so he wouldn't stay chained up in the afterlife what khaol did was selfish but he can tell he fucked up and I think he really just wants to fix the mess he made at this point with that being said I can't hate him and tell him to disappear from the story this honestly could help river grow as a person and live with a life free of negative emotions from the past
