Chiharu is easily the worst and I'm honestly tired of him.

He assaulted Ikumi and apparently loves him. He has forced himself on Ikumi numerous times despite him expressing that he wasn't interested. You can't just assault people just because you like them.
i don't hate his character, but tbh out of ALL of them, i find him the least interesting. i feel like his state of mind isn't ever shown, for example his feelings on his relationship with Ikumi. We aren't really told if he's unhappy with the fact that they aren't officially dating n stuff. The result is that he comes off as some sex crazed guy, and kinda selfish tbh. My favorites would have to be Miyuki and Leon!

It doesn't come off as genuine to me personally. If the author displayed Chiharu's thoughts and made him less of a creep that just wants to get his best friend pregnant then I probably would hate him less.
Trust me, you don't want a guy that attempts to bar you from socializing with other people or try to keep you from talking to "competition." He's not over protective, just controlling.
