that would have been true only Masato character is not that kind of person that will get hurt from someone like this since he know he is amazing. and he know that it was mostly a joke, especially after their sex scenes.
Kinda evident that he's affected by it though, Masato is doubting whether he's being unnecessarily jealous and insecure towards Asahi's antics. I'm also talking about the part wherein Asahi joked about wanting to see Masato's girl friend then Masato played it cool.
I bet he would feel unnecessarily jealous even if his bf will just stare at people, I think it kind of unnecessarily and dumb and he knows it. that's why he told himself enough of this dumb shit. Asahi joke about the girl boobs, don't remember Masato girlfriend/friend
To give you some perspective, I am a woman. I have had relationships with other women. If I were in Masato's place, having to hear my ex-hetero girlfriend talk excitedly about other men's dicks, that will be such a blow to my self-esteem. The insecurities Masato has are definitely more valid than letting Asahi go on with this "boobs and girls" talk. Even if he says that he does it because Masato acts cute after. Just no, it's kinda selfish of him if you think about it. This was framed all comedic in this manga so you may not think much about it but, in real life, it can definitely give someone anxiety. If you think you can handle this situation (in real life), then good for you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there who can't handle it. You know how hard it is for the LGBTQ+ community, especially those who are only attracted to the same sex, to feel secure. Hope that this issue gets addressed in the next chapters.
