I don't think they ever gave him a name but it's the first boy fushi met in the first chapter and the one he always uses as a vessel

I assumed that it was kahaku because i really want to see kahaku again (/TДT)/ . But i guess he had to die because he couldnt handle being a burden to fushi, the entity he loved and his friends that he cared about.

i dont think it would be possible, cause it seems like it's only when the soul stays behind? if the boy left for good it might not be possible, but who knows

im pretty sure he's happy in the afterlife with all of his previous family and friends who died and left him in the barren snowland. A lot of people are shown reuniting with their families as spirits but deciding to stay with fushi instead. So dw, im sure he's happy :))

I agree! He knew that his previous family didnt make it. He knew they didnt left him behind on purpose. And i think thats enough.

in a sense, fushi also fulfilled his wish to not be forgotten. Even though his name is gone, he has paved the way for a legend and his face is etched into the history books
