Seriously, I wanted her to deck Lucilla or throw something at her or even for her to YELL at her. But she was so down beaten by that point, that she was reacting to it the way an abusive victim would. And for all intents and purposes, Lucilla (and Bene) WERE emotionally and mentally abusing and controlling her. So it is not surprising that she was unable to stand up for herself at that point.
