I kept hoping Takashi would be the "uke" and Tamio the "seme" or there off. But as typical, the mangaka decided to make the foreigner the seme who is mostly clueless. I don't really feel much romantic love from Takashi, while it overflows in Tamio. Personally, I'd have hoped that instead of being a wallflower/angel, Tamio would become aggressive passionate and continue to profess his love on Takashi, since with his wishy-washy character, he needs someone to push the right buttons. Yet, Tamio is really portrayed as the perfect "girl". He cooks, sews, is courteous, kind, and meek. He's passive, and yearning yet not acting on his desires. It had a nice flow in the beginning, but it got disrupted. The later chapter made me sigh. Hope its better latter (but since its been untranslated for this long, I feel its best to leave it at the kiss scene and imagine all went yaoi after).
