The ending made my heart ache. I always support how an author writes their story for it is a product of their imagination. I, myself, is unable to write the stories I imagined on my head. For that, I really do admire creative people.
But this is the first time I felt disgust on a story. Using "pure love" as an excuse to deliver something you can't express rationally and creatively.
For me:
Hina is someone who always seek comfort from others. She's the type of person who will never learn from her past mistakes and stand firm on her decisions. She only look on what is in front of her and cling into it no matter what until someone slap her the truth and circumstances of her actions.
What she did is not an act of selfless dedication to the one you loved. Subconsciously and consciously she knew why she stick beside Natsuo when she claimed to be his supposed reliable sister. The fact that she's not upfront with her feelings and failed to throw the necklace to end everything and moved on justified the above statement.
Rui is someone who knew what she wants. She will act on it and pursue until she made it. She wanted to be a better person so she can stand beside Natsuo. Their break up means she decided to be strong for both of them and allow room for their individual growth.
I think her breaking point is when she saw Natsuo's reaction towards the accident. I am still trying to recall if he even asked how is she and the baby during the operation.
Natsuo has no balls but this boy is clever. He effectively use what is told and offered to him. I don't exactly understand what is lovable from him but i would really love if this kind of man only exists in fiction.
The ending? Well. It's bullshit but glad it ended already haha
