I understand her fear of Cabel, but it's been shown, time and again, that he's not one to harm someone for fun. If he wanted to kill her, he could have done so already. Instead, he asks her to be honest with him and she isn't.
Frankly, if she ends up with Cabel, she doesn't really deserve him because of just how much I can imagine this would hurt him. （￣へ￣）
