The author tried to make it such that all the characters kinda have a happy ending... but I am skeptical Vichid, who hadnt been the epitome of stability, wouldnt become paranoid that his 6 brothers are still alive and plot to kill them to eliminate any threats...
Ian is totally in an abusive relationship. And the vexing thing is he was just accepting of it. Vichid just all but destroyed Ian's moral compass, and the way he guilted Ian to stay with him... might have been a joke but arrrgh it's pressing all sorts of wrong buttons with me.
The way Noah/El and Ryan fell for each other was... not done that well. Ryan fell for Noah/El due to his... 'charisma'? Or just an urge to own something he couldn't take home in his childhood days? At least the way Noah/El fell for Ryan was better? Ryan accepted Noah/El the way he is, and lonely Noah had always wanted to just belong to someone.
Machin x Jaina is just too abrupt. But Machin is wise. Stay away from the death trap that is the competition from the throne. Just keep your head down and avoid trouble and survive quietly away from the capital.
Not a bad story. The main couple is handsome, so that helps. Sometimes I felt Ryan's hair and cat-eyeliner-eyes made him similar to BNHA's Hawks. A more masculine version.
