I liked this story. It is sad and full of the darkness that truly exists in the world. Actions have consequences and choices are made, even if they were hard to make. It isn't some fantasy story where everything works out in the end. It's a story with some reality to it and the ending phrase it is clear that the two will find their way to happiness together. I give it a firm two thumbs up.
