I really like how the problem they were trying to fix was finding a new renewable energy because I feel it makes one focus on their environment, the world they live in, & their society. It made me think about the behavior of humankind in relation to our world. I think the characters' goal was really sweet & pure. They just wanted to make their world better. It felt satisfying to see the doctor, after having suffered, work through his nihilism to become more hopeful towards the world & his actions, all inspired by love. Really noble goal & romantic story!
