I agree I am interested in how River can help, but I think people ragging on Khaol is completely justified seeing as he took advantage of River's feelings to use him and treated him like shit.

It is very justified it's just kinda annoying that all the comments are slandering khaol not everything should be about who you ship and everyone should get a chance to redeem themselves khaol knows what he did was wrong and whether he wants to get back with river or not is not the point the point is if khaol wants to redeem himself he should be given a chance I just don't really care for it when a character realized they've done something wrong and want to fix it and all everyone can say is "oh if you ruin my ship" or "get tf out"

hi! i totally get you because you're right, the hate is sorta overflowing. But khaol wants to redeem himself? I beg to disagree. There has only been nostalgia all along with fondness in khaol's memories as if the all the pain that river went through never happened. Not ONE thought of apology anywhere, or even acknowledgement about how it's the pain he caused river that caused him to change. Nope. "River has changed"???? like??? Khaol doesn't even realize why he is the way he is? Yes, river is shuyin now, but how come Khaol doesn't realize that if the actual 'shuyin' were a tad less kinder, maybe if he were more like khaol himself, river wouldn't exist? He would be Dead. D E A D. No remorse about how everything ended? Mistakes are something you can come back from, this definitely wasn't a mistake, it was a travesty.Let alone the fact that khaol perhaps doesn't even realize something was wrong with his treatment of river in the first place. I totally understand that and honestly I agree with you there I think river treating khaol the way he does is also 100% justified as well I still think khaol should have a chance to realize and fix things with an apology even if river doesn't forgive him khaol at least should feel some type of regret and it's extremely fucked up that he doesn't but it'd still be better if everyone wasn't slanding khaol in the comments the plot is actually interesting and all everyone can talk about is heil an khaol than attack the people with different opinions and though those peoples opinions are fucked up to each his own it's toxic to see that you're just sharing your opinion and someone is bound to disagree but image how the other person feels there's always gonna be that one person I think we need to understand that and get over it at the end of the day we all have our own opinions and I know I agree with you khaol doesn't deserve forgiveness and I hope river won't forgive him but I want khaol to end up feeling some type of guilt and he apologizes I'm not for khaol I just want his character arch where he sees he's fucked up and tells river he's sorry with hopes of nothing in return
