2) the character development is questionable cuz then it'll be like oh he's in love now so it's ok..it might become like that. And all that he's done before would swept under the carpet

I thought his top knot was already cut because of his behaviour and his parents sent him away or something!? As toxic the relationship is I just want nakyum to become more independent and a bit more confident. Like how in KS, their relationship was never romanticized,, they showed the bad , ugly and somewhat sweet but they never ended up together and had a fitting ending..
Ya! In bj alex it's just swept under the rug and not addressed properly cuz "he's in love", I feel like when characters are complex (with strong emotions or behaviour) their redemption is harder because of all they've done in the past and if not done properly it can come off wrong
Which story is saezuru from!?! So basically if a character is going to do controversial, crimes or bad things the author must have a proper reasoning , execution and proper ways of addressing and dealing with them!
Unpopular opinion (maybe) : I don't want seungho and nakyum from painter of the night to end up together. It's mainly because of seungho's rash behaviour, short temper and ego which makes it harder for him to care about another person and nakyum is treated like a bit of a shit by him,,,if they fall in love and show "everything's fine now" won't that romanticize their abusive and non-con relationship right now?? (Plz do give points if I'm wrong somewhere)
