I also agree, but I don't think all of them were interpreting it in a way as homophobia. In general, public displays of affection, especially in school, is pretty uncomfortable for some people. However, I do think it's sad how lgbtq+ people have to be extra cautious because of the possible hate and animosity they may get.
oh yeah I know! i kinda mentioned it in the end (very chaotic) but showing affection in public spaces is uncomfortable itself and every kind of relationship is gonna be spread to the world when they get caught.

Bc it shows how awful is our reality where homophobia is on daily basis and we have to sneak around as we were committing crime. kissing in school when you don’t want to get caught is tough but kissing in school as GAY is a whole different thing poor babies i hope he won’t out them:(
