most of yaoi manga is made by female, so it based on their fantasies and almost of yaoi manga , the uke is based on female or the mangaka emotion itself,

I'd like to answer your statement. As for..."I mean why wouldn't he, the uke, not want to do the seme? they're the same and want to do the same thing so it confuses me." First, you have to understand that in gay relationships, not every man wants to penetrate, just because they have penises, they have the desire to insert(they define themselves as "Bottoms"). And there are man who have no desire or simply don't get aroused when they are being penetrated(they are "Tops"). Then there are man who love to insert and be penetrated(they are "Versatile"). Therefore, you have to keep in mind what the characters desire. If two characters maintain a Top/Seme--Bottom/Uke relationship, then they are expressing their sexual desires and there is nothing you should do or judge about because they are conveying their feelings. The same thing is said for versatile couples. I mean there isn't a one way road to follow.
I only read top-bottom sexual relationships. I have read versatile couples but it just doesn't arouses me. Therefore, it all comes down to preference.

I read the raw a while back it must have been translated by now... It yakuza, and all that comes after but prepare for some steamy hard and HOT sex scenes...
