maybe a reason for that could be because most yuri's are created as fanservice for males.

Not necessarily the reasin why, a few days ago, In the question section of Mangago, I found some people dissing Yuri and saying how it was all weird and stuff when they themselves were into Yaoi. Sketchy double standards right there
