Look I get it, BLM is battling racism and such but constantly shoving down to our throats is just a bit much. Please, many people already support the movement. Please don't post political agendas on manhwas, mangas, and webtoons where many people would just want to read the story.

i don't think it's being shoved down your throat though?? it was only mentioned briefly in the end card,,, if a person can constantly plug their Instagram in an end card with no problem why is it wrong to mention blm when it's for a good cause?

Bruh, this is Mangago. This is a place to read stories not to be used as a political agenda of sorts. I may have views of my own but I don't post it on many sites unless its the focal point of discussion however many social media sites go out of their way of making things political, from videos to my timeline, and even Mangago now it's just tiring at this point. I want and some people want a break from that, that's why many people's hobbies are reading stories or watching cute videos, however some people go out of their way to post political things. No matter how small or big it is shown, can we please just make this site politics free as possible. I know people have good intentions, but please can we just make this site politically neutral as possible. Also regarding your last point, I'm not an American, I'm solely relying on the information that are being thrown around so correct me if I'm wrong. Why is it that every time a white person kills a Black person, it becomes sensationalized? Why is it that every time this happens, the media portrays this issue as black or white thing, us vs them type of mentality. Why??? Black people's deaths are often from other Black people, so why is it that when a White person, and yes he is racist but even then, are the majority of White people racist? Of course not, so why is it portrayed this way. Why not look at the whole picture cause when you look at it that way, all people no matter the ethnicity experience Racism. When the coronavirus appeared, xenophobia against Asians rise particularly to East-Asian looking people, there's this one video of a Black person attacking an Asian woman, but did it exploded the way George Floyd did when he died, which to be fair he died but the unarmed Asian woman did not, but both were attacked due to the perpetrator's racist views. When some Asian people experienced xenophobia, did the Internet exploded in rage? I don't think so. Why do Black people get an exception when all of us, at some point were discriminated not because of our personality but of our identity? Just why? It's because of the media and how many people play the victim card. We could be united at this point if we don't have this innate bias on who gets to be the victim and the perpetrator, on who is racist or who is not. Think for a second, when our main judgment of a person is by their personality. When we just don't think about racism at all, when we just let it be a hideous word of the past. When we're not blinded by us vs them mentality. When we just see people as people and not see one another as the oppressed or the oppressor. By sensationalizing things that blind people to the whole truth, it just adds fuel to the fire and all that's left of our judgment is our irrational emotions, without logic and forethought. Sorry if I can't explain certain things because English is not my first language so I hope you get my message.

I'm with you on that. The circumstances of death of Georges Floyd was atrocious and everybody had enough expressed their empathy, tears and anger about that issue; cities everywhere in Western world burnt (and still protest), but now I think things went too far. Lately, L'Oréal even wanted to erase from its ads words like "whitening", "white"... which resultes in a boycott of the mark by consumers. WTF is all this?

And you're totally right on coronavirus and the repeated violence against people of Asians origins in the West: sad truth is, when it's the Asians who endure racism and barbarism, NOBODY GIVES A FUCK.
What was hilarious is that those who perpetrated the attacks not long ago on Asians were for the most... Black people :'D Sorry, but I find that so pathetic and sad. We all have seen these videos of Black people attacking rondomly Asians in the streets, bus, metro... over the Covid-19, in an extrem violence.
Though, no one ever cared for us, Asians. Hopefully I live in France, but even there I was sometimes afraid to go out doing simple things as groceries.
Because we are more discret, because Asians especially Chinese prefer to focuse in advancing rather than complaining, everyone just ignore the violence and hate words related to coronavirus we had to endure in silence. And today, when I see the BLM and all this going overboard... (while no long ago they were the ones to treat Asians like leprosis...), Excuse me... So, the new norm is, when we have enough of the BLM, we're cast outside?
Let me tell you people that a world where every race/all races can get perfectly along, "multicultural" like France's dreaming, is a vast illusion. I live in an area where there are all kinds of races and ethicities, from Black to Arabs to Asians, Whites... well, none mixes with the others. Arabs stay with Arabs, Black with Black... Each race TOLERATES at best the others, IGNORES them at worse, and it's not because we pack them together by force like in those suburbs that this will stop racism or open people's minds.

If anything, Mangago should stay out of all this, like the Oasis it always was.

My fellow Fujoshi, we're here to read BL YAOI and mangas, comics, not to read BLM or racism related stuffs.
    Thanks.

Why people even mention BLM here?
Is it because the boss is a tanned guy? Who gives a fuck whether he's tanned or not? He's cute, this is the only thing that's important. There are also tanned to dark skinned Asians in Asia. Please don't use this for your political agenda -Especially on Mangas sites.

Okay I’m here to read manga too but some people aren’t aware of the situation. As well they can put BLM because they have the right to. You are being ignorant as well because you aren’t understanding our point. This is about spreading awareness towards racism. And if you don’t like that idea then please leave-

Like I said originally, the original BLM mention was just a small paragraph, not an entire political essay.

But I read what you have said and I want to explain this for someone that does not live in the US or does not understand why people are protesting in particular for black lives.

Yes, there is black on black crime, and there is black on asian crime and even black on hispanic crime. No one ever said that the struggle or pain of those people never mattered. As an Asian person who lives in an area with many Hispanic and Black people, it hurts me to see what has happened to these communities and it's not right, no one who actually supports BLM would encourage this behavior either. But the fact that this happens does not detract from the fact that there is an overwhelming majority of black people that have been unjustly killed by the police. White people as a whole are not the problem, in fact the police that killed George Floyd were not even all White.

You also mentioned, "why sensationalize everytime a white person kills a black person? "why is it about race?" It is because when a white person murders a black person, the murderer is not held accountable. When a black person murders another black person, they are sent to prison with a lifetime sentence. Why do you think the names of so many black people have been put on social media? Because the murderers of these people have never been held accountable for their actions. You are upset over a tiny paragraph that mentioned how people may be able to help the cause, yet you wrote paragraphs explaining how you don't understand why we are fighting.

Yes, this is mangago. A website where we read and imagine ourselves to be away from the negative parts of the world. It's a place where I can escape from a world that is so wounded and broken and just look at catboys for a few minutes. But when I close my phone, I go back to a world where homophobia and racism exists and no matter how long I spend on this website, that does not change the fact that people have been murdered.

This is NOT the place to do that, dude.
Mangago and manga sites aren't for you guys to spread whatever other than Mangas related topics, especially in the comment section, and less again right in the comic's pages. We're already flooded by these informations everywhere else on Internet. If you want to discuss about it anyways, then create a special topic for that.
This is not the place to collect founds either for BLM (political issue, if you don't like the "agenda") or anything other than Mangas and art related.

"And if you don't like that idea then please leave".
(What a cheap argument you have there, lol).

I understand your point, though I think - and I'm surely not the only one- that Manga sites SHOULD STAY OUT of such matters.
We all have values and personal convictions that we want to defend, whatever big is the problem or not; and if you think that someone have the right to speak or mention about it, think also about those who might be annoyed by this. Not because they're heartless bastards but because they're bored by seeing it everywhere and the matter going overboard; this might even have the opposite effects of what their authors were expecting, in the long run.
