It's not about that. It's about too many people influencing the future of yaoi into a sanitized, narrow range of acceptability. No rape, no non consensual, no explicit sex - because so many of them can't handle it and want something much more pre-censored.
A lot of this influence is coming from people below legal age who shouldn't be here anyway. Another reason is the safe spaces, trigger warnings, snowflakes who are immature and scared of their own shadow. Plus, the definition of rape has been expanded into yaoi situations that would not have been called rape only a few years ago. We see far more omegaverse, which is getting fluffier and fluffier, and far less Put On A Smile type of yaoi. Closed minds are everywhere now. That needs to change if we don't want the future world of yaoi changed into 90% Cinderella.
Rape isn’t interesting nor does it add value to a romance in any way. This whole comic is seriously low iq and the dialogue is cringey but I’ll admit that I’m somehow drawn to it. I didn’t offer you any advice but if you want some then I’d say: open your mind a little. If someone disagrees with you it doesn’t mean that your tastes aren’t valid. A lot of other people also like this kind of story so it’s not an issue that most people hate it because there will always be people like you.
