I.... kinda like how it ends...? It spiraled into darker and darker territories but in a scenario of big business doing underhanded deals and nefarious reasons to mess with other’s lives, there’s not much room for a happy ending without it being an ex machina. It had its moment to reel in before a point of no return but didn’t do so, in that way if the author intended for a happy ending they made a mistake. It’s gritty with an unsatisfactory ending. In that way, it’s pretty satisfying to me.
