yesss i feel the same, i always see people recommending webtoons rather than mangas. i mean it’s alright, however yaoi mangas are being read less even though yaoi as a genre originated in japan and became a popular through mangas not webtoons.
i'm hoping for them to step in the wonderful world of yaoi in a more in depth manner, and i think going through the mainstream stuff is fine; they will discover more hidden gems. with that said...
...why the hell do they call blcds "yaoi asmr" and "yaoi audios"??? i- haven't you heard of drama cds at least??? anyways, i lose my mind every time i hear those terms lol. take this with a grain of salt pls lol, it's just strangely funny to me since i knew of its existence in a young age.
why not recommend some of your older faves , the really good classics worth everybody's time, and maybe include info such as whether there's other forms of media created for it like an anime, drama CD, live action, movie, OVA etc. ?

Yes, some webtoons are so generic... but there are really good ones too. I find it sad when new readers limit themselves to webtoons. There are really great manga out there. They'll grow up. Some manga I used to love as a teen have really not aged well...

it doesn't matter what type of media, new fans are always a tad bit annoying lmao. as someone who have been reading yaoi for almost a decade its sad that new fujoshi/fudanshi really only focuses on webtoons and think that is the standard for yaoi.
