Although the best endings for the Uke is either to end up alone or with someone who deserves him, we can expect that both won't be happening.
The new cover features the Uke and the Wolf as lovers with cherry blossom trees around them. In most artworks the Uke and the Wolf are always standing the closest to each other even in the very first cover the Uke is closer to the Wolf and his body is facing his.
The manga has two titles, you are all forgetting about the second title beneath the first title that's always been there and still is.
The manga's full title is: The Wolf King may not, Love, which makes us one.
The 1st title can be interpreted in many different ways such as the Wolf King may not take throne, the Wolf King may not give up, the Wolf King may not be a king anymore etc.
The 2nd title meanwhile is clearer with an implication that love will conquer and make them come together.

Combine the above things also with the following things that happened in the manga:
1: the Uke and the Wolf have the most screen time and character development.
2: the Uke has dreamed 3 times about the Wolf look at chapters 3, 17, and 44 for confirmation and he's called out the Wolf's name in his sleep 2 times.
3: the Wolf is shown to resist pink hair's pheromones by thinking of the Uke and gave pink hair a solid death threat.
4: when the Uke was under the influence be it of drugs or from the temporary bite mark he would call out to the Wolf or cling to him, this combined with reason 3 imply that the Uke has unconscious romantic feelings for the Wolf.
5: the time the Wolf meets pink hair for the first time he was so blinded by his pheromones that he only saw the Uke and called out the Uke's name.
6: the Snake just keeps getting more and more antagonistic and has done even worse things to the Uke than the Wolf has.
7: in chapter 1 when the elder talks about finding a fated mate among their own race a image of the Uke is close to those text bubbles and the Uke is confirmed not to be Human, coincidence?, I think not.
8: the Wolf is shown both regretting and realizing all he's done to the Uke is horrible and apologizes for it to the Uke and begins to treat the Uke better and care about him, the Wolf has saved the Uke a couple of times, and also tried to save the Uke from his father and even grabbed his father by the throat and tried to stop the auction.

If these are any indicators then all of us might have to face the reality that the Wolf and the Uke are endgame whether we ship them or not, this is of course just a speculation I could be wrong but the evidence to support it is still there.
