I don’t know why you are so hateful because I have not once disrespected you or called you any names so idk why you are calling me a “serpent”. You said that people have free speech but you are going around harassing people who have a problem with rape because you don’t. If you like it good for you but just as you have that right we have the right to voice our opinions.

You don’t know me. I don’t call anything harassment. I stated my opinion and you stated yours but you continue to go back and forth. I posted my comment and YOU decided to comment on it, I did not seek you out or ask for you to state your stance on rape in fiction I just posted my OPINION on the story I was reading.You have your opinion and I have mine so I don’t know why we are still having this discussion. You can separate fiction from reality good for you but as for me I don’t like rape in stories like this and that is my right so I don’t know why you are letting other people’s opinions bother you. Enjoy what you enjoy and let other people do them. we have free speech and can say what we want that is why these stories have comment sections. I’m done with this discussion and I’m moving on from this whole thing because it wasted more of my time than I wanted to give to it.

One I don’t know who “you guys” are I don’t right hateful things all the time as this was my first comment on a story. We disagree but you continued to say snarky things about my opinion. Also I have the right to block you if I want to just as you have that same right. Nothing is snake-like about it, if I don’t want to interact with you I don’t have to and the same for you with me that is our right.

anyone can comment. I don't need to be sought-out in order to speak to you or anyone. It is NOT your right to have any say whatsoever in what an artist chooses to express in their art. that includes all the stories here and all the art. Honestly, the nerve of everyone always saying they don't like rape in stories. so what? None of you have said what you'll do about it. all you do is gripe. All of these wrongful opinions together, although wrongheaded and against freedom of speech, do have an effect. surely you must see that. You influence others. You influence the industry. You never stop to think about the people who create these works. these stories and art are some artist's entire life. the training, practice, talent and skill it takes to do this would stagger you. you can't begin to imagine. so I really wish you people would stop and think before you speak so vehemently all together with one agenda without thinking about the very heart of the matter, the artists.

You need to stop addressing me as “you people”. Second You are the only one against freedom of speech. You are assuming things about me and you don’t know me Or what I do. Why is it okay for you to have your opinion but I can’t have mine? You like rape in stories; as I said before good for you. I am fully aware that people who have experienced that trauma before would write about it but this story in particular I do not like. People have the right to dislike things just as you have the right to like things. As I look at it now you are the one who is trying to stifle my freedom of speech and how I am allowed to feel. You call other people’s opinions wrong but what makes your opinion so right? They are only opinions. If people are sending messages to the artists and authors of mangas etc. about how they feel that’s on them, I do no such thing like that. I just don’t like rape in any shape or form and it is as simple as that. I simply stated how I felt after reading something and you decided to jump down my throat telling me how I should get over what I read but I can feel how ever I want about it, art and stories are here for interpretation to the person reading it so if I don’t like how a story is progressing that’s my right I just don’t understand why that is bothering you. Why can’t I have the right to feel how I feel? I’m not trying to change your mind on how you feel so why are you so down on me? I make one damn comment and it becomes an unnecessary debate. My thing is that I'm tired of being jumped on by 25, 30 feet. This is the only time I've ever seen anyone, me, go against this very vocal (bunch of assholes)

No matter how mild, if you say you don't think a particular story was rape, as I have a few times, I get an entire comment section up in arms against me. You can't discuss it with the people here. Their feeling, as I understand it, is there is no discussion, no debate, on the subject of rape. There are stories where I see it as ridiculous to call what happened in the story rape. but they don't so they get very vicious if anyone disagrees. It's their way, and having the nerve to object is unacceptable. No one speaks against them anymore except me and a few others, but there are silent people who upvote, which is appreciated. Mangago has made it all but impossible to comment anonymously now, so those who would speak out if they could comment anonymously, don't.
They don't want to bring down the freaking reign of terror down on their heads.
I'm a free speech absolutist, but I will try to convince you of something I think is right using everything I've got. That, too, is free speech. So these radicals can expect that at least one person will stands against their tyranny when they call anything and everything rape. I'm not referring to this story, k?
It's this comment section where I simply had it with all the hateful, horrible stampede against anything they don't like. they are not right all of the time, and they are unreasonable a lot of the time.
