Everyone has their own opinion but I think it's a bit rude to say that most people has lousy taste in art just because they don't have the same opinion as you...

If most people think that the silver haired dude was better because he didn't used the black haired guy like the red head than let them be! And if people like you liked the black haired guy with the red haired guy than that's also okay.

In the end its just fiction. So please stop being so rude/disrespectful because of different opinion.

Normally I really wouldn't care to say anything but in the last few months I just couldn't watch ppl getting so worked up over a decision the author made.

Let the author has they fun while drawing their OWN story.

Nothing would stop me to draw that what I want and alot of my artist friends has the same opinion.

Me, as an artist, am saying that I think that the author changed the story because of fan pressure. She all but comes right out and says it in her omake. I have seen it happen before. An author changed the course of her story because her fans wanted something other than the end she had planned. I think that that always produces an inferior story, and I would like to send the fans off a cliff. As an artist, and a writer, ha, I think I beat your identity politics there. LOL I do think that people who are not artists see the whole world differently, not worse, just different, but I think that when a lot of fans who like fluffy and have no care about the structure and art, can send the author onto a trajectory of making a product for the fans instead of making the art they originally planned. I think the author's taste, skill, talent, and ability far exceed a bunch of fans' desire for romance. I wish these authors would close their ears and make their art. I was really mad when I read the end because I could deep down feel the story aeju planned, and how she changed course and made a different end that wrapped up the story very quickly. I think that Hyunho (?) - the redhead changed drastically, that he had moved to an emotional place where he sincerely loved, needed, and would have grown tremendously under the love and guidance Ian could have provided. Instead he was left wounded with nothing for his young, first love's loss. I think Ian and red are a better, more interesting pairing, and I believe the author created them to be a pair. I think that cho will not be enough to hold Ians attention. He's just too provincial. He also suddenly was a guy who had loved Ian forever where before he was a side character. The tacked on part about him and his unrequited love was the sprucing up of a rather dull character, and making him into the lover with the ring and the parents... kind of made me want to puke. sorry
I think that Aeju got holy hell for Hogu's horrible ending, so she was willing to do whatever it took not to have that happen again. I'm sincerely sorry if others don't care for my opinion. I care about the author, the art, and the writing far more than anything. else involved

I get your point and you are right-- as I said before I also didn't liked it that the story had this turn, but if you also noticed the story had a lot of flaws. From the beginning till the end you didn't really understand what the point is. She is really Inexperienced and the story had no structure.

In the end to be completely blunt the story was really bad. But since this is one of her older stories I don't wanna say that. She put so much efforts in this so yeah.

And if you really planned a story out from beginning till end- there will be no room for changing a story because the fans wanted to.
I am working on a story myself and it's a Hella work to create the panels the conversation and I don't wanna start talking about the outlining or coloring. (and layers. How many times I had to start over because I drew on the wrong layer.)
Hours of work and I should change it because the fans wanted to? Yeah putting in there some fanservice here and there okay but I would never change a whole story line just because the fans wanted to.
And yes if your manager and editor say to change something because it doesn't make any sense okay than you should change it.

You can do that (changing the whole story) if you didn't had a real story board in front of you because every decision you make needs to make sense.

She actually did change the entire ending. She has told us she did. I agree that it was a - sorry - stupid move. Pressure from publishers . yeah, maybe so.. They will lean hard on an author if they want the changes.
