To the new readers - this is one of the best stories I have read, don’t think too much about whether it’s bl or shoujo cause it doesn’t matter. Go with the flow of and let the characters tell you their story. If you’re able to read this with a fresh perspective and not be stuck on the fact if it’s bl or not I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy it. The reason it has shounen ai tag is because the main lead is bisexual and his ex is gay. Sexualities aside, it’s a wonderful read I definitely haven’t forgotten about after all these years which says a lot
