Im pretty sure in the original timeline, Claude had used black magic to completely erase Diane from his mind. As you guys may know, Claude kills people fairly easily (he doesn’t hold attachments), so since he had no emotional connection with Athanasia from that timeline, he killed her easily with no remorse. I’m not saying that’s okay, but he did have a bad history with his family and he only considered Jeanette his “family” in that timeline.
I'm just waiting for when the author reveals what happened in the original timeline. Athy did have a dream of Claude suffering and calling for Jeanette and then Dark!Claude popped up and said that it was useless since he was dying. More happened in the original timeline then we know now, so I wanna know all the deets.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
well it's not like some are turning a blind eye on Claude, it's just for some of those who already read the novel they already know the reason why in the first timeline Claude is cold towards Athy and ended up ordering her execution. 'coz why would he kill his own daughter and be kind towards someone who is just likeable and all smiles Jeanette even tho he knows she's not his blood? ╮(￣▽￣)╭ sounds fishy if u may ask me coz as we all know Claude is not a softie and opens up to people easily instead he kills people like it's your normal everyday stroll. it's just that Diana and Athy are exceptions but that's it

My god, whilst everyone hating on Jenette, i couldnt stand Claude.
What he did to Athy in the original timelime makes my blood boil. The excuse ‘he blames athy for Dianas death’ is not good enough at all. To treat your child so crap all those years and to murder her???
And u expect us to love him?
There must be another reason why he easily killed of athy in the original. Brainwashed??
