Although they can’t go into heat, they can be sexually stimulated VERY easily. Especially bigger birds like parrots. It’s so intense and hard to get them out of that it is like a heat. Just lightly blowing air into their faces can put them into a rut. It all depends on the birds individual personality.
He may not have given caihong to fei directly because he respected his brothers wishes not be a zhen tamer again; yet he gave caihong to somebody close to fei so that fei can still take care of caihong should things go wrong (which is what happened in the story).

Art style was gorgeous, plot was interesting and different from the usual Yaoi/BL... The Zhen were well made, everything seemed good. SO ima give it a 4.5/5

It was kinda sad to SEE how Caihong had to deal since the beginning with the guilt of being the one who had "killed" Ran (and their relationship was so sweet) also i agree with some of You guys, Ran should have left him under care of Fei since the beginning. It was also sad how he made that killing-monster façade and how he didnt want to be touched again by some other gentle hands. Although the dialouge was kinda confusing in some pannels and birds can't get into heat XD, it was surely a great read. I wouldnt mind getting a 2 episodes ova animated...ヾ(☆▽☆)
