Being transgender myself I really related to these characters. Being a woman or having that body, I use to hate looking pretty. I really thought a lot about it. Whether what pushed me to the edge was actually worth it. Whether my choices I was making were because I genuinely felt a disconnect with my body or was it that I found being a female scary.(I’ve had Scary encounters with Men when I was still feminine) I’ve also pushed away everything I Loved that wasn’t manly enough.(cute stuff) and I hated my shy behavior as well as crying easily. But I learned that these things don’t define man. As I accepted myself I found that liking girly things don’t make you a girl and vice versa. Now I buy what I want and am slowly working on changing my body to match my identity.
