Growing up as nobility doesnt really make emotionally smart nor mature ppl. In the first timeline, Tia was thought of to be a cold and emotionless woman mostly because she didn’t really know how to express herself out loud. She was expected to be things and all that went down the drain when an anonymous woman appeared snatching up her first love. Let’s not forget she was raped, lost her child and then executed for a crime she didn’t do - all at the age of 17. She isn’t the strongest nor the most compelling mc but i think that’s what makes her special - her willingness to try. She tried hard to change her fate, albeit her methods were not so effective and now she’s in a predicament she doesn’t want. She’s still weak, insecure and scared because of all the things that has happened to her. She has only learned how to smile recently but she’s still comparing her present to her past (not rlly obvious in the manhwa but in the novel she does). What’s important is to see how tia heals from her trauma and become more emotionally stronger - whoever helps her with that deserves to be with her.
