i meant to like, i totally agree. it's like the same as some manga/manhwa that would have been better as a shounen ai but they get turned into a smut yaoi because of complaints from readersヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
I always like some sex in there. lol. I know what you mean, though, and your right imo. Gratuitous sex isn't good to read. Has nothing to do with the story, just tacked on.

what I find intolerable is the thought that the author would bow to fan pressure and change the end of her story. Aeju did that on one of her stories, Easy Target, the end was so bad I wanted to throw up, and the end she had planned - I could feel the story needing to go that way. Fan's taste sucks. LMAO
