Agree. Somehow, it truly isn't depressing. Isn't it interesting how embalming is thought of in Japan? I doubt I would be strong enough to be in a profession that was disrespected by my own culture so thoroughly. His strength in the face of cultural taboo is one of my favorite things about this guy.
A lot of others would think this kind of manga is depressing but I think it shows us how we humans really are.
