Uwhah Adekan. Sheds manly tears. I think its because if the epidemic because both mangas updated regularly with more chapters before all of this virus shit. Adekan wasn't really a monthly manga like Kuroshitsuji and had irregular updates but...it updated. I miss my boys. I vaguely remember the last chapter. I like both series.
It's not because of the virus. They were are already slow to update well before then. And yeah, at least Kuroshitsuji has a consistent update schedule. I binged Adekan at one point and because it took so long to update and some chapters seemed to be out of wack, I had to reread about 10 or so chapters. I miss them, too. This time around I keep the last chapter in the back of my mind and kept some footnotes from the last time in case I got lost lol.
Oh interesting method. I checked back and the dates didnt seem that bad but when you love a manga/hua/wha or anime it really feels quite painful and restless waiting. But I personally as hard as it is,
I prefer to wait however long until the author/ mangakai complete their masterpiece than rushed shit, know what I mean?. Like take time off if you need to but don't give me abrupt and unsatisfactory work.
Kudos to you, I don't think I could ever commit to something like that. I agree with you on that, quality over quantity, especially if there mental or physical health is involved (I understand even more because I write my own fanfics). There have been a few mangakas who have it the other way around though...
Hai, I haven't written a fanfac, well I started but never really went back to it. However, I am a writer; I write short stories and mostly rather morbid and melancholy poetry. Love and sexual themes are not something I tend to write. I suppose I can if I try, I did write a really sweet and gently love one..I am still amazed I managed to write such a thing. What fanfic.. as in which characters did you use?
I've written my share of short stories before, of soft ones, sensual kinds, but most of them with romance and drama tags. Though, after I wrote my first kpop fic with 107-1-8 chapters, my brain tends to think of plots that are suited to be written in months rather than weeks. Originally, for years, before I took a break, I've written for anime characters in Kuroko no Basket and Haikyuu, Levi in AoT, Edward Elric and Kaneki Ken once, Sosuke from Free!, and Heath from Prince of Stride. I stopped to write a few kpop fics, which developed my writing, but now I'm back to writing Haikyuu

This series is my favorite of all time for YEARS, so you can imagine how frustrating it is to get a short chapter once every month. I wanna give it the benefit of the doubt because like Adekan, the art is unique and intricate and all around aesthetically pleasing, but is no one helping him to illustrate it faster? *sigh* At this point, the world is gonna end and we're still not gonna know our Ciel's real name.
