I feel like that not all the sins of the brother were revealed to everyone n there was no closure. Like the part it was actually that jerk’s fault that Heejae lost his memory. Remember when he injured Heejae before he ran away (to meet with Taekyung to run away together back when they were young) cuz he got mad at him. Heejae hit his head n already very much damaged it by that hit. When he was riding the motorcycle (he had directly ran away after getting hurt) so that serious head injury coupled with his inexperience with the bike made him have that accident. N that crash further worsened his injury leading to his amnesia. Otherwise, at most he would have received damage to his body n head but not as far as amnesia n losing his IQ. His brother was the true culprit that ruined his life.
Ps if ur wondering that if he had already damaged his head than why didn’t he have any reaction to it, than my answer is that some head injuries don’t have immediate reactions. The damage is done but one doesn’t notice until a bit of time later plus with Heejae’s adrenaline n thoughts to meet up with Taekyung he was even more mentally preoccupied. This actually happened to my cousin sister in reality. She crashed her head against a pillar really badly but there wasn’t any bleeding so she thought it wasn’t much n didn’t visit a doctor. The next day she was delirious, her movements sluggish n she’s didn’t understand what we were saying n she kept crying n saying her head hurt a lot. When we went to the doctor, he said her skull had a dent n there was a blood clot in her head.
