I think they’re just wanting him to stop crying almost every scene lol. Some people are ok with it, some are tired of it.
Yea Im a huge cry baby too, I literally cant help it whenever something makes me frustrated, stressed, or upset. So its cool to see a character act the same.
My childhood growing up has some similarities to Hozumi's. Even now as an adult there are times where I go saying "I won't do it again. I'm sorry. I won't do it again" and cry while saying it. I have bad anxiety that requires meds that I developed from my childhood. It's horrible and sucks. ╥﹏╥

Ok, so I don't know how this whole crying thing became such a big debate lol but like if you read the whole manga and especially previous chapters you'd understand how badly his parents fucked him up and why he cries so often...it's how he copes with the stress of everything that's happening to him. And do you wanna know why he isn't like the weepy shoujo protagonists that everyone complains about? Because he has a reason to be crying! Usually those girls will see their love interest with another girl and just burst into tears - at least hozumi's character has been built up so we understand why he's so anxious about his relationship and making friends and everything. Also, because he is so frantic rn, i think yamato is just trying to show him that he is there for him physically and then they'll talk it out. Sorry if i came off agressive but i actually find hozumi to be a well written character - so much so that i don't mind how weepy he is. That is my ted talk, thank you. (=・ω・=)
