I just managed to finish it last night and it is now MY TOP TWO YAOI MANWHA (After Ennead)
What started out as a very questionable premise originated by DMMD's RenXAoba Route (Dog is hawt, fuck the dog) blossomed into a rather intriguing tale of werewolves and mafias.
To be honest, I was a bit put off by the art first. I would describe it as rather stark and severe with the use of rigid linework and monochromatic colors, but I realized it served to enhance the humor. The muted colors lull you to a false sense of tranquility and then, BAM! Comedy! Never fails to make me guffaw out of nowhere.
It is not without fault tho, EinxDiesel's story completely overshadows that of BexanxMinsuk, The Siberia trip could have remedied that and introduced a conflict that will firmly establish the main couple in the lore but no, it kinda fell flat. I would have liked to see Bexan be a catalyst for a conflict between the Russian and Chinese mafia, but the story didn't give us that. I find it rather disappointing that they'll introduce interesting characters from the Chinese mafia in such an abrupt way and then remove them from the narrative just like that. I saw so much potential with that storyline, not to mention the Mexican mafia could have joined in and given us more of Pablo. Hes such an interesting character that could have been further explored, and I wish we could have seen his more sinister side from his Mafia ties that was peeking through his flamboyant designer persona.
As for the conclusion, It was perfect. I just find the story lacking.
