Thank you @eclipseyesmile and @lightybulb for clarifying the extras' translations. Because of how the translations were, for the longest time, I thought Yuri was banished by her kid, the next emperor after Kail, and that the translations made an error on the kid's name, which was Muwatalli II.
Because the translations made it sound like Kail died first and then the next emperor had trouble getting political power because of Yuri. So, it wouldn't make sense for Kail, the emperor who conferred these powers onto Yuri in the first place, to have less political power over ruling his kingdom than his queen, but it'd make perfect sense for Muwatalli, their child and next emperor, to have a more unstable political position in ruling the kingdom because of the empress dowager, who'd be Yuri (like Kail did with Queen Nakia).
So, I thought they just made a mistake on the name and Muwatalli actually banished his mother to gain stable command of the throne, which I thought was pretty harsh and a drastic change of his character, at least, when compared to how the mangaka portrays him in the extras.
But @lightybulb's translations actually fits better with how history played out this succession and is also more in-character for the mangaka's characters and ties better with the overall story.
And this makes me wonder if the name played a role in the translation confusion, as Prince Urhi Teshub's regnal name as emperor was also Mursili, like his grandfather, but he'd have been Mursili III, so idk.
