imo, manhwas are usually worse than most mangas. esp in terms of pacing, and the over-usage of love triangles.

but i agree about the newer ones being better though (with the exception of a few)


and for mangas, you just gotta know where to look to find amazing stories. i don't like mainstream mangas (like ten count, yarichin, titan's bride, etc.) but the ones that don't get as much attention hit so different:

Lol then I will prove you wrong, did you read Harada’s work? Like Yatamomo or Color Recipe? Yamamoto Kotetsuko’s work? Like Honto Yajuu or Mad Cinderella? Azuma Kaya’s work? Like Rumspringa no Joukei? Ogeretsu Tanaka’s work? Like escape journey or neon sign amber? Kyugo’s work? Nakamura Asumiko’s work??
And some great other manga: saezuru tori wa habatakanai, dekoboko sugar days, life senjou no bokura, mother’s spirit, Rutta to kodama, blue sky complex, golden sparkle, umibe no etranger, therapy game, shuuchou host new boy and so many more.
And if you want newer manga then, Raion gotoki no kuni kara, see you later mermaid, daisy jealousy, oretachi namamono desu, private stripper etc

And "all the classics are garbage"... no? They may not be the best now but they are still manga with cute romance and characters. Are you telling me that things like Love is an illusion and Bj alex are better and recently Your to claim are better??
