It actually reminded me of a life story special ep that aired in a tv program before. They were each other's first love, got separated and had their own families, after 50 years, the old woman was a widow and the old man is a single father. They met each other again in their hometown and they got together again.
He told him when they meet again, he will give him an answer, so if they meet ( I hope ), I guess he will give him the answer "Yes" even if it's late ? well what a sad story :'(
